Stop giving Obama Credit for Everything.

The newest ad against the self promoting ways of Barack Obama is one that cannot be refuted by the left.  In fact, Ariana Huffington, one of the poster children of the leftist ideologies even called the act of giving Obama credit for so much of the bin laden kill was despicable.  That’s his own supporters, his own party, his own funding calling him out for over the top self promotion.

In fact: it’s been ridiculous to see our PRESIDENT, not being very presidential.  It’s like he’s getting ready to get ready.  When is he going to start addressing the Nation on his presidential duties, and stop running the campaign mill non-stop?  Oh, what’s that? We are smack dab in the middle of another election? Wow. That’s amazing; I haven’t once heard Obama address us as a President since he actually took office.  Everything has been a swipe at the conservatives, a class warfare propaganda speech, or self promotion.  Oh I almost forgot, he has another 7 years left on his 10 year term.  Wait we don’t have presidents serving ten year terms in office? What? Someone needs to get Obama that memo STAT!  Every time he talks it’s about this or that “ten year plan”.  I thought this guy was some sort of constitutional scholar?

Last year, around this time, we THINK, Obama was in the situation room directing soldiers with kill or capture orders for Osama bin laden.  But… let’s explore a few things:

First of all, Obama was playing golf.  Remember that famous situation room photo? That’s a General in the President’s seat.  Yes, Brad Webb, who looks conspicuously more trigger pulling in the photo than the polo shirted Barack Obama.  There’s a panic stricken Hilary Clinton, and a dejected Barack Obama, and one can only imagine that’s the moment in which the Helicopter went down.  Clinton, worried that this operation could get some of our men killed, is slightly more concerned than BHO, who is likely to be thinking to himself “Great, this is going to ruin my chances of reelection, how did that helicopter go down anyways?”

Secondly: while I would never disrespect the men who serve on our nation’s most elite team, Seal 6, I must admit, more and more, I wonder if the raid ever happened quite like Obama says it did.  Pakistanis-a-plenty don’t even believe that a raid happened that night (perhaps a testament to our SEAL’s incredible capability).  We never saw the body of Osama bin laden, we gave him some awkward burial at sea.  Several of the men who were in the team that raided OBL’s compound were killed in a downed helo (via a RPG) soon after the killing of OBL.

*Now, I personally believe that Team Six DID find and “kill” Osama bin laden, but would speculate how much after the “finding” of him, is real, considering we have downplayed his role in al qaeda since his death and that the Navy SEAL teams are more than capable of extracting him without HAVING to kill him.  Furthermore, why wouldn’t the CIA, FBI, WH, and a whole host of others want to extrapolate as much intelligence out of OBL before they beat him with soap in a sock to a pulp?  Since I believe the SEALS found and killed him, I guess I won’t elaborate on the conspiracy theories I am frequently subjected to.

Now to the point of this article.

Who would credit Obama for this?  In the famous photo he is barely a bystander, certainly not the strong willed tough acting president we all hear him tell us he is.  Who would credit Obama for going into a home in Pakistan under the cover of night and taking out the most dangerous leader the world had at that point in time?  Furthermore to credit Obama, like he has for himself discredits our nation’s military, intelligence agencies, JSOC support and most of all the SEAL 6 team that did the job.

What act of valor does Obama deserve credit for?  Even Clinton came out to say that if it had gone badly, it would have been lights out for Obama.  Is that why he looks so smug?  I would too, if I were a spineless president always bowing to other weaker countries, having to witness the awesome power, prowess and deadly precision of the elite forces on a closed circuit television screen while someone else gave the order because I was too busy golfing to be president.

Is this a scathing review of president Obama? No, I’m just getting warmed up.  Simply this article is here to say: Do not credit Obama for the kill/capture mission of OBL.  Rather give Obama credit for listening to someone other than Joe Biden, the only guy less capable of running a country than Barack Obama.

Give credit to General McRaven, who didn’t even know for sure when he started selecting team members for this mission that he would be going after Osama bin laden.  Give credit to JSOC, Brad Webb, and others in support who made this operation a reality from the command position.  But most of all, never forget the credit OWED to the men who carried this mission out, the heavily supported (by all branches of military) NAVY SEAL TEAM SIX.  Those who risked their lives, those who eventually lost their lives, and those who, remaining nameless can go quietly into their grave, Proud to be Americans, proud to have helped to exact justice on one of the most evil men to ever walk this planet. Thank you brave warriors, for your allegiance to country, to self and to God, staring down evil to overcome it like knights in shining armor. It is because of you that we enjoy our freedom, safety and have the right to pursue happiness.

Credit Obama? No thank you.  The only credit he gets, is allowing that picture to be taken so we could see his ineptitude every time we see it flashed up on the television screen, from me, there will be no credit Obama.
